To celebrate the debut release from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds www.NoelGallagher.com and Sour Mash Records have teamed up to bring fans a playback of the album featuring exclusive video footage taken from the making of documentary 'It's Never Too Late To Be What U Might Have Been', which features on the CD/DVD and iTunes LP.

Side One of the album will be live on the site from 5pm (UK time) Wednesday until 5pm Thursday. Side Two will be live on the site from 5pm Thursday until 5pm Friday.

The playback will take place in the website's inbox that every registered user of the site receives. The inbox is used by www.NoelGallagher.com and Sour Mash Records to post exclusive content for fans.

Noel Gallagher has shot an amazing video for Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' new single 'AKA… What A Life!'. The video was co-directed by Mike Bruce and Blake West, who worked with Noel on the video for 'The Death Of You And Me'. Filmed in California, Arizona and New Mexico, the video features an outrageous performance by actor / comedian Russell Brand.
 
'AKA… What A Life!' is out now  in the UK on digital download through Noel's Sour Mash Records label. The single will also be released as a digital bundle on Sunday October 16th, CD and 7" on Monday October 17th and features the exclusive b-side track 'Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me'. The digital bundle also includes the video.

Sour Mash are pleased to announce the winners of the playback competition have now been picked. An email was sent out to the lucky fans yesterday with the details of where and when the playbacks will take place.

A few questions have cropped up from fans so to clear these points up:

- Unfortunately there will not be room for winners to bring a plus one along.
- Winners need to bring id with them plus a copy of the email. This does not need to be photo id.

Noel Gallagher's record label Sour Mash are pleased to announce that they will be hosting two exclusive fan only playbacks of the forthcoming debut album from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. The playbacks will be held in London and Manchester on the afternoon of 8th October and all those lucky enough to attend will also leave the session with some exclusive signed artwork and get the chance to review the album for www.NoelGallagher.com.

To enter the competition all you need to do is 'Like' Noel's official Facebook page then leave your email address and postcode. Or you can enter via the brand new app from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - download it HERE! and then ensure you register within the app with both your email address and postcode to be in with a chance of winning. Over 18s only.

Winners will be drawn at random and those successful will be notified by email on 4th October. Open to UK residents only. Unfortunately Sour Mash cannot contribute to travel costs.

Sour Mash Records have just posted a teaser for the forthcoming video to AKA...What A Life!  The new video was co-directed by Mike Bruce and Blake West who worked with Noel on 'The Death Of You And Me'. It features a brilliant cameo role from none other than Russell Brand. You can see this short preview clip below.

The full video will be available to view later on this week, check back for more news shortly.  The single is the second track to be released in the UK, Ireland and Australia from the debut album from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
