NoelGallagher.com are delighted to announce the eponymous debut album from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds has entered the UK album charts at number one. The Sour Mash Records' release is only the third album this year to hit number one with sales in excess of 100,000.

This is Noel's ninth number one album, having achieved eight previously with Oasis.

Also announced over the weekend is that Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will be touring the UK & Ireland in February and March of next year, with tickets going on sale this Thursday 27th October @ 9am for dates in Belfast and Dublin and Friday 28th October @ 9am for dates in Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, London and Birmingham.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are set to play their first ever gig this Sunday at Dublin's Olympia Theatre. The band very kindly invited NoelGallagher.com down to the production rehearsals yesterday. While there we thought it would be cool to take a photo to show you how the band are looking on stage.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have confirmed their first European gig of 2012. The band announced today they will be playing at Le Grand Rex in Paris on 6th March.

Tickets for the gig go on sale Wednesday 26th October at 10am (local time). Fans can buy tickets from:

The gig at Le Grand Rex will mark the second appearance in Paris by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds who are set to play at the Casino de Paris on 6th December. The tickets for their debut gig sold out within hours of going on sale earlier in the year.
