Well, I took a bit until I could process all the feelings I had during that night. After two days, I can honestly say that the feelings I had during the concert still remain. What a set! Great gig. I really liked the new record since the very first time I heard it - how I wished I could have had it signed by the chief but I work and I couldn't become in of those "Jesus followers" Noel mention in his post during those crazy days- but the important part is that I could be right there, in front of the stage. Those tunes sounded perfectly live, better than in the record. My favs: If I had a gun - which has become a 'new classic' among Noel's fans-,
(I wanna live a dream) in my record machine, AKA Broken Arrow (ohhh, what a song), WHATEVER!!!, Little by little. Of course, Don't Look back in Anger, and ONE truly gem I never thought I would ever listen to live: Half The World Away. Noel, dude, you ROCK. I hope to see you again someday soon. That would be my fourth time! Cheers!! (no more than 2 pisco sours, please - bloody hangover).
PD: The first pictures posted here of this gig are mine. I hope u like them.
What hapenned last night on San Marcos Stadium (11.05.12 /Lima - Peru) was simply amazing. Noel Gallagher is a real artist, singer and composer. It was not necessary big screens, as he mentioned before people don´t go the show to see him, just to listen to the extraordinary music he makes. It was only he and his musicians (High Flying Birds), that was enough to make you sing and dance. Thanks for coming to Peru. We hope you come back soon.
